Save for the sauna

I have a dream of opening the most relaxing, rejuvenating space in Edinburgh, bringing together three elements I love: Finnish sauna traditions, Japanese philosophies, and Scottish design aesthetics.

I don’t just want to create a sauna; I want to create a new space. A ‘third space’, as they would say in Japan – a space that is not work and not home. Here, nothing is expected of you, so you can truly unwind within a nurturing, warm environment.

‘Save For The Sauna’ is my tattoo fundraiser, building up the financial resources to create this special place in our city, with community, wellbeing and a connection to nature at the heart of it. All the funds from my wood and stone texture designs will go to this new sauna project, and clients who book these will also get a free sauna session once the space opens!
